Doobie Decibel System were one of the first acts to present livestreams on a regular basis once the pandemic began. Various formations of the band, including solo sets from Jason Crosby and Roger McNamee, have starred in Shelter In Place Sessions performances streamed via YouTube and Facebook. Highlights are posted to YouTube with the latest featuring Doobie Decibel System Quartet’s cover of “Cry Baby Cry” by The Beatles.

McNamee and Crosby are joined in the Doobie Decibel System Quartet by ALO’s Lebo (Dan Lebowitz) and Chloe Tietjen of T Sisters. The four-piece’s rendition of “Cry Baby Cry” was performed last Tuesday during the December 29th Shelter In Place Sessions livestream.

Jason Crosby played guitar and shared lead vocals on “Cry Baby Cry,” a song originally released on 1968’s The Beatles, aka The White Album. Guitarist Lebo also contributed a few verses and sang harmony on the quartet’s version of “Cry Baby Cry.”
